It’s Storytime again at the Star City Library!

Children PreK - K are invited to an after-school spooky storytime on Tuesday, October 18, 3:45 – 4:30 pm. This month, we will feature a Halloween-inspired storytime with just a touch of spookyness for the little ones to enjoy!  

The program is perfect for kids to get together with others, feel out a group environment while having fun with a story and a hands-on craft activity. Storytime is also the ideal occasion to introduce children to the library in general and foster a life-long love for books and reading at an early age. Parental supervision is required during the program due to the young age of the participants. Most children are more comfortable with having a familiar adult close by.

Storytime includes an after-school snack before Ms. Krystal Morgan entertains everybody with a fun story. Some sessions include additional components like music, rhythm tools, and sensory activities.

Storytime is a free program and sign up is required. Parents are asked to call the library at 628-4711 to reserve a spot.
