Do you love wildflowers?

Join us for a special library fundraiser event: Learn how to make your own wildflower arrangement and take it home. Picture an evening surrounded by fresh-cut wildflowers, some yummy snacks, and like-minded folks who love a beautiful country bouquet to beautify their home. Amber Owen, owner of Sweet Peas Florist & Gifts, will instruct the workshop and teach everybody how to put together a gorgeous wildflower arrangement, considering the type, color, and size of the flowers. You will learn the basics of the work of a florist and embellish your bouquet with a cute country ribbon.

Tickets for the event are $30 per person and can be purchased at the library or at Sweet Peas in Star City during shop opening hours. Deadline to purchase tickets is 3/14.

Reserve yours early - spots are limited to 30 participants.

PLEASE NOTE: Bring your own quart-size Mason Jar! The event is a fundraiser for the library's Summer Reading Program and it'll save the library costs by asking folks to supply their own jar.

Simmons First National Bank will sponsor the snacks and drinks - no need to worry about supper that night!

Join us! We would love to welcome you among the wildflowers...
