Program Description

Body

Kids & families, join us for an educational and fun session about Arkansas snakes! Ms. Laura Rogers from the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission (AGFC) will teach you lots of facts about these scaly reptiles. We'll explore our native snakes to find out which ones are venomous. Plus, let's get crafty together and make a very special and unique "snake skin bookmark," using real snake skin and a laminator. 

Kids will also receive a after-school snack to start off the program.  

Sign up for the program is required, just to give Ms. Laura an idea about supply amounts. She has to collect all the snake skins for us!  Call the library to sign up at 870-382-5763.
