Monday--January 23^rd at 6pm--Monticello Branch Library Meeting Room

Presentation and discussion of the Sorosis Club, a women’s literary club organized in 1902, from which the Friends of the Library evolved. Family names included in the members' list are Anders, Anderson, Curry, Garrett, Garvey, Giessen, Hamblen, Handley, Hicks, Leonard, McKenney, Mettetal, Millen, and Ross. We would love to hear any stories and/or gather any mementos about this group.
