DESCRIPTION:Summer Reading time is here! Yay! Our 6-week Summer Reading Pr
 ogram will start on Thursday, June 11, at 11:00 am with an in-person, in-h
 ouse stop-n-go event with hotdog cookout, sponsored by Connect Bank. All S
 ummer Reading kids ages 3-12 are invited to visit with their families betw
 een 11:00 and 1:00 pm and pick up a hotdog lunch pack, get their reading b
 ags stuffed with goodies and everything kids need to participate in the 6 
 weeks of fun to come. Some surprises will also be waiting for the summer k
 ids. Librarians will greet kids and families at the craft stations and han
 d out “Summer Fun Packs”, the official summer activity and coupon book
 let to win prizes this summer. The Summer Fun Pack can be completed at hom
 e without attending the in-house weekly program events. This way, kids who
 se parents aren’t able to bring them to the library can still be part of
  the library’s Summer Reading Program, participate in the Reading Challe
 nge and win prizes.This year's Summer Reading motto is "Unearth 
 a Story”. All schedule details will soon be available on Facebook at the
  “Star City Branch Library” page. The complete program brochure will g
 o in print at the end of May and will be part of the Summer Reading gear f
 or everybody to take home during the kick-off event.
